I recently bought a 15' gregor aluminum boat with a yamaha 40hp outboard. the transom is starting to crack where the jack screws tighten down to hold the motor on. i would like to reinforce the entire transom to hold the weight and the thrust that it will make..
So my buddy recently picked up a 16' deep v aluminum boat. i think the motor is a 65hp. transom doesnt exactly run the entire height of the rear of the boat roughly half. we have cleaned out the old rotted transom, removed the motor and all the associated steering fuel hardware etc..
